Dr. Guzman has a passion for service, mentorship, and empowering women. She has participated in dental outreach missions in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, providing dental care to those who lack access to care. Dr. Guzman has served as a  board member for Synergy Today Foundation and was a council member for the Unspoken Smiles Foundation. She is currently a member of the Second District Dental Society New Dentist Committee.

Dr. Guzman speaks to students about careers in STEM fields,mentors undergraduate students and aspiring dentists, and lectures on topics such as community building, discovering your “why”, diversity in dentistry, global outreach, four-handed dentistry, quality control, and navigating the dental field from her unique perspective.

She is committed to whole wellness, emphasizing the impact of physical and mental health on career longevity. Dr. Guzman strives to help other health professionals find balance in life to achieve whole wellness in a way that works for them.

Dr. Guzman is originally from Brooklyn, New York and her parents immigrated from Livingston, Guatemala. She has five siblings and several nieces and nephews. In her spare time Dr. Guzman enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends.
